A Suite Life as Twins

Doppelgangers and doubles are also seen in through twins. Twins have a very special bond in that identical twins look exactly like one another and share the same DNA, but fraternal twins are more like regular siblings who happen to be born at the same time as one another. Over few blog posts, I am going to be focusing on twins and how they are seen interacting in the spotlight together. The first set of twins I will be focusing on are the Sprouse twins. Cole and Dylan Sprouse are two popular twins who got their fame from the Disney Channel show, The Suite Life of Zach and Cody. Cole and Dylan played two troublesome twins on the show who live in a hotel in Boston Massachusetts. When they were acting in this show, Dylan who played Zach, had a personality that was more of a lady’s man and wasn’t good at school. However, Cole, who played Cody, was very studious and was nervous to talk to any girl. By giving two identical twins two different personalities, it helped the audience distinguish from the two, when they looked very similar at a young age. Growing up, I use to watch this show and remember having a hard time telling each of them apart but using the personalities they portrayed to help me distinguish between the two. I’ve observed that as twins grow up, they usually have different personalities from one another, which is interesting because although they share some DNA, they are still their own persons.
