Double Trapped
Another famous twin movie is The Parent Trap.
Now you may be thinking that there is no way you’d be able to confuse one of your
kids for another kid, but this movie proves that otherwise. If you are not
familiar with this movie, it’s about twin girls whose parents divorced when
they were babies and separated them. They find each other at a summer camp and
don’t get along until they find out that they’re actually twins. They decide to
switch places to see and meet the parent whom they didn’t grow up with, and
eventually tell that respective parent that they are not the daughter they are supposed
to have. The girls also have a plan to reunite their parents and have them fall
in love again. I personally find it intriguing that the parents couldn’t tell a
difference in the girls but maid and housekeepers noticed first. I also love
how this movie really shows how alike twins are. Not only in their looks but they
were also able to pick up on each others lives very fast. The girls are a
double of each other and provide convincing evidence when they switch places to
fool their parents. Identical twins in general are hard to tell apart a lot of
the time, and with the special bond and their shared DNA there is an
inexpiable connection between them that makes them a double of one another.
